    Long Time No See

I'm an old veteran here who has stopped posting due to a variety of reasons. One is that my computer is no longer capable of operating Battle Realms and so I thought it wasn't right to post here any longer. Then, after a long string of failures, started to go into a sort of depression. So that was another reason why I couldn't post. *sigh* So, skipping past that I am now in need of a couple of things. I've been making a couple of characters and need reference pictures of the Druidess, Dryad, Witch and Overseer.
  2. So, even though Battle Realms has a smaller unit count than every other RTS out there, it still ends up being huge armies clashing one another. Also, maybe it's just because I never play online, but I'm not bothered by any harassment. My goal is to devise a way wherein a smaller number of units can still make a deadly force against a larger army. So here's my idea: Fabled Units. Fabled units are basically normal soldiers with above average stats and abilities. Let's say, the Dragon Archer. Training it in the Academy will result in a Fabled Archer, a character that acts and functions like the basic Archer, but who's damage greatly rises on elevated terrain. Battle Realms maps are pure eye candy, which I'm sure that all of you would agree. However, most of that eye candy is based on symmetry, hence why creative harassment may not be as effective (at least for me). A more asymmetric map will cause for more harassments. Or maybe just add more obstacles/impassable terrain for symmetric maps. Fabled Archers would do more damage standing on one of these elevated terrain, allowing them to pick off more units with less numbers. Obviously, to balance everything out, there should be a limit to the number of Fabled Units. Let's say 5. Anything above Tier 2 cannot train to become Fabled Units. Remember, this is just a concept, an idea. I am fully aware that I am incapable of actually implementing this. This idea especially coincides with how I play the Lotus. We Lotus rely heavily on Battle Gears, particularly those obtained from the 3 brothers. However, considering the 3 brothers/Crypt is very far along the Lotus' tech tree (whereas other clans need only 1 building to unlock the BG building, Lotus needs all 3. plus they need the Crypt to unlock their healers), the Lotus is also slow. They're not truly built for harassment, although Leaf Disciple rushes are very successful. This makes us (or from how I play) as late-game players. Fabled Units would give the Lotus some leeway in the mid-game play, or reinforce the late-game army. Fabled Infested would be far more damaging; Fabled Diseased would be far more tougher, and Fabled Unclean would have splash damage to their projectiles. Fabled Units may also have different BGs than their normal counter parts, like Fabled Acolytes have 'ice touch', freezing enemies and allowing them to escape. Fabled units can be retrained back as the next tier units, although they lose their 'Fabled' status.

    Sc

SC's property is piercing, not magic. Did anybody know that? If you didn't perhaps you'll need to change your strategy. -Izaak, Lord of the Lotus Clan.
  4. Ed Castillo, get your butt in gear. -Izaak, Lord of the Lotus Clan.
  5. Yes. It takes time though. BTW, if your Serpent and you're Yin farming, don't use Budo's whip. The damage of Budo's whip is somewhat related to Budo's base damage; in other words, you can one-hit-kill you and your allies' peasants with the whip. -Izaak, Lord of the Lotus Clan.

    Divine Retribution

http://www.funtechtalk.com/world-of-warcra...nd-out-of-game/ Mexico City, Mexico-(MH)-Mexican World of Warcraft player Bronco Carson reported to local police on Saturday that 3 men broke into his home and beat his arms with clubs and smashed his computer. It was supposedly in retaliation for Carson stalking and repeatedly killing one of the attackers wife’s character during computer video game play. Carson admitted to police that he had been “making it hard for her to get far in the game.†He said that after repeated online threats from the woman, she sent her husband and friends over to his house to “take care of him.†Carson later said that he had made the mistake of telling her where he lived and “if her husband was man enough to just come meet me to settle this.†2 weeks leading up to the assault he said he had been harassed by a few characters constantly during game play. “I knew that I might be messed with in the game but I didn’t really expect her husband to come looking for me. I couldn’t have been more wrong.†Carson suffered 2 broken fingers and a fractured wrist during the assault. They also destroyed his computer and entertainment center before leaving. No arrests have been made in connection with the assault. -Izaak, Lord of the Lotus Clan.

    Kazan

Actually, Kabukis can set buildings on fire using their flash powder. It happened to me in a fight, but the fire didn't last too long and died on its own. -Izaak, Lord of the Lotus Clan.
