No Background

Question

I had installed BR on my computer. This is my spec:

WinXP SP2

Intel C2D e4300

2gb DDR2 RAM

ATI hd2600xt

When I start the campaign, I only can see the character moving but not the background (land, grass, tree etc.) When I press ESC, the computer will hang. I just formated my winxp and try install, but it happen again. Try play skirmish, still the same. Only can see character. No the control board at the bottom screen.

I try to installed on my old pc.

AMD Athlon XP 2500+

512mb DDR Ram

NVIDIA GForce2 MX400

Everything work fine.

Why? Is my new graphic card can play the game. I played this game before, and want to play it again.

Anyone face the same problem?

Make sure you have the latest drives from the ati website and that you have the latest direct x redistributable.

You must be missing one of those.

Good for me that I don't suffer those problems since I install my Battle Realms in my computer.

Battle Realms is one of those games where a simpler system comes up on top of more 'better' or complex systems i guess...
