+JB. 4,800 #1 Posted September 28, 2016 I just tried to sign into my battle.net account after some time and apparently there is a security check with a code similar to steam. So I went to my emails and entered the code they sent me, but it says this every time: I tried at least 10 times over the span of an hour. Is this a common thing and I need to wait even longer? help quick before I change my mind about spontaneously buying overwatch
fever 9,884 #2 Posted September 28, 2016 Never seen this before, but I only installed battlenet for the first time a few months ago. I'll try logging in later when I'm online and tell you if it's the same for me too.

Mana 3,867 #6 Posted September 28, 2016 I got banned from World of Warcraft on my Battle.net account. Funny thing is I don't own or have ever played WoW on that account. And I'm pretty sure my account wasn't compromised either. I don't really care since I'm banned from just that one game. But I'm kinda curious what the shit happened here. Did someone somehow login to my account (doubtful), buy WoW and then do something to get banned? All without triggering any of those emails or warnings? Hmm... Is there some way to check recent logins/locations without contacting support?

I e-mailed their support and they did a "reset" of the WoW account (back to nothing?). According to google we're not the only ones. That's kinda weird. But whatever Guess they don't want us to play WoW. Fine with me.
