kuttlewug 28 #1 Posted April 12, 2009 It's been bothering me for a while. I thought I uninstalled Cod4 properly but I put the CD in and the start up screen comes up asking to play singleplayer etc. I click single player and nothing happens. I checked the programs list and according to it cod4 is not installed on this computer. I typed C:/ in the search box on the start menu and went to where all the other games files usually are put when I install. There is no activision, cod or infinity ward folders. But like I said before when I put the Cd in the screen comes up asking to play the game single player, multiplayer, and all that. Uninstall is on the start up screen so the computer obviously thinks the game is still on the computer but I can't find a trace of it on here anywhere. Try looking for the setup.whatever on the actual disc to install the game again or there should be an option on the start-up box like "modify or repair install"

Krash 1,040 #6 Posted April 19, 2009 If your running Vista i think it puts your saves in a separate folder, i think the games folder. Look around in there.
