Mr.Nom 0 #1 Posted April 29, 2010 Hello, First of all big thanks for the servers, began donating this year and will be keeping it up. I saw one or 2 other threads about the payload server but didnt want to necro any. After talking to a few people on the server and watching the general drama/grudge match in chat as the server rolls towards Hoodoo I was wondering if it might be possible to maybe expand the rotation with plr_pipeline to mix it up a little. You will have to forgive me, im abit of a novice with server management so im not sure if it would be possible to do. If it would cost a little extra in order to accomodate the extra space etc. I might be willing to donate the extra expense. Thanks again. Nom
Mana 3,867 #2 Posted April 29, 2010 Pipeline was removed because it can get stuck. Valve never fixed the issue where the cart disappears and since there's no round timer in that map... the map never ends. However we implemented voteskip as a way to get around that. So perhaps it will be added back sometime.

smeghammer 0 #4 Posted May 16, 2010 Hey, i'd also like to add something to this. At the time of writing, lotusclan payload is on Hoodoo and has 23/33 players. This is not a rare occurance, and i can tell you now that after extensive play on this server...people really do not like hoodoo. Myself included. Most regular Lotus players will simply leave now, as soon as the map changes. The balance of the map just really sucks, and it's not fun to play is the general consensus. We've had numerous discussions during playtime on this map about how we should petition Lotusclan admins for the removal of this map. And possibly replacing it with either pl_cashworks or plr_pipeline, or both. So i'm wondering if anyone will actually take notice of this request, or if it's worth starting a poll, or how we should generally procede from here? I hope someone takes this seriously, and thanks for reading =]
locomotive 15 #5 Posted May 16, 2010 I just made a thread, before I saw this one, about the exact same topic and I agree no one likes hoodoo and since you added voteskip why can't things go back to they way they were like last year pipeline instead of hoodoo cause that was brilliant. I found a better solution to the problem a poll:
