I'll most likely give it a try. I wonder if it will use dedicated servers like L4D or will one person host it?

noticed something when watching the other game play video (the one not on the page mana linked). At one point there was an over the shoulder camera on the left side of the screen so that you could look into these holes in the wall. Very trippy!

but in the same video I saw an alien that looked exactly like the headcrab queen from HL

Meh, I played it for a while last night, not all that impressed unfortunately. The sever browser leaves a lot to be desired and I had a lot off issues connecting to other games. Got the hat, but that's probably it.

I had a lot of fun, and i got the hat. I dont like the movement system however, regardless of where the person is looking, w is up, and s is down. I think it should be guided by where youre looking.

it's pretty fun, though it seems to use the left 4 dead way to find a game, and also, is this alien swarm hat free once you play alien swarm or something?

You get the hat after successfully completing 2 missions online. And as far as the connection go, this is where I had the biggest problem. I played for about 2 hours and out of that probably 60% of the time was spent unsuccessfully trying to connect to online games.

Just did a round with Keg, theres not really much i can complain about either then some connection probs here and there and the part of the mining mission where whenever i pick up those damn lasers i throw my gun off the edge.

Connection problems aside, it's pretty fun, and I really hope more campaigns are released

Lack of hats, game sucks.

Other than that, (and connection problems) it's great.
