Video Conversion

Recommended Posts

For quite a while ive used WinAVI to convert my FRAPS videos. I use to get bitching quality such as this guy getting busted in the face.

1080P and looks pretty good fullscreen on 1920x1200.

Now im getting quality like this.

It just looks meh.

What converters do you guys use, or are there any ways to tweak my current (WinAVI 9.0)?

Ati's video card accelerated converter (from the ccc). It's very fast for 1080p too, result:

VirtualDUB + DIVX codec =

Badaboom = No good.

When it started it said my card wasnt compatible. Nvidia GeForce 9200 GT? But i tried to convert, it let me, and the quality wasnt great.

I just tried Prism, that wasnt too great. So Keg i have the codec to watch DIVX do i need another one to encode?

You can choose the quality level, here's an example of a video I converted with badaboom a while ago (1080p):

What settings did you use? I just did full quality on custom media center and it still looks wicked fuzzy. :) Thanks for helping me out gentlemen.

I don't remember, was a while ago.

In any case, since you want .wmv you can use this:
