Uk Payload Problems

Heya, 2 issues with Uk payload server atm.

1. Horrendous lag every 2 minutes for everyone.

2. Player count not working properly. When the server is at 32/33 slots, you cannot join thru browser or console because the server is apparently full. Nor can you leave connect to server on auto retry because it immediately assumes you can join, then kicks you out when u connect, with server full message. So the only way you can join is to wait until it drops to 31/33, which is pretty annoying.

Hope someone can sort this out soon, would be appreciated.

Is this still an issue?

Seems fine to me when I looked at it.

It's still getting random lag. It seems to get worse as the playercount increases.

The server is usually full. For the past week, no-one wants to play on it, and it's usually at 8 bots/24.

Seems fine right now, could be a DDOS attack on the server, can you send me a pm on the forums here the next time it happens?

Hi - just my two pence worth. Yes the lag was an horrendous issue but they rebooted their servers according to another post i had when i was complaining about this so thanks to the admins for that.

However the player count is still an issue (if it is actually an unintended thing). For about a week or more the player count is 32/33 when full which as the original poster says, means that you cannot connect though the ingame server lists via "retry" as your client thinks there is a slot free, but the server returns the fact that it's full. Therefore you have to just keep refreshing the list (favourites in my case) until you see it drop to 31/33 then try to get in. A real pain.

Now in my case i only ever play on uk 2fort 24/7 if that helps narrow it down.

One other player count issue and this happens once every few evenings (the time when i play). For some reason the server is reported as being a 24 player server in the master browse list, until something "happens" whereupon the server count is corrected to be a 33 player server. Not a regular occurance (like the 32/33 issue which you see all the time now).

Anyway, if you couls sort those that'll be luuuuurrrvely.

And when the server goes under 20 players it "becomes" a 24 player server to appear in the default server list. It's intendedl behavior.

Ah ok thanks for the info. The 32/33 issue though on a server that doesn't change map for.....3 hours is it (wen the map juest reloads)......means that the issue simply....remains. I'll see next time the map loads - i'll quit out then try to join in again and see if the 32/33 issue is there straight away.

I take it you can't fix the 32/33 issue then?

At least the lag's sorted though - was terrible lol.

Can't confirm that it is to be honest, as the server is only allowing 24 players to join now. The player count is not increasing after the 24th person joins, it stays at 24/24 and server is full message.

Omg, scratch that, it literally has changed ten seconds ago. I swear to god, all day its been 24 players and saying I couldn't join....
