Derogatory Player In 24/7 Goldrush

Recommended Posts

Hello, I was enjoying some 24/7 gold rush at the east coast server, and one player kept saying the n word over and over again in team chat. I had called a voteban on him, but that got no where. I have posted a single screenshot from in game. I was only in the server about 10 minutes, and you should be able to confirm all this through the server logs. But here are screenshots, the player name from the server browser (since I could only hold the one screenshot in memory) and the Steam ID from the a helpful page (http://steamidfinder.com/default.aspx)

Here is an imgur gallery (as you could figure, it isn't censored just an FYI):

Steam ID is: STEAM_0:1:1702344

Thank you for your time, and please help keep the Lotus servers clean and friendly

EDIT: I also took a screenshot of the steam ID webpage showing the hover "join" information. As you could figure it is the same server IP as the Lotus Server.

did you try vote kicking? really he's entitled to free speech...at least I think thats what mana would say.

Reread my first post, I tried it that way but never gained any ground.

Yeah I get the free speech thing, but that tends to be pretty derogitory and ignorant. Other groups such as the Brother of Chaos have instant banning for such things, but if Lotus Clan determines they want anything and everything in chat then that's a fine ruling by them.

I felt it was necessary to bring up in the forums, as it offended myself and a friend I had brought along.

According to the rules, there is not one for racism, however; If he was disrupting the server, he can be removed. Tell others that were there to post testimonials here and something will be done.
