Remove Dod Auto Balance

flanks are left exposed...takes fun away from game...... because players are getting auto moved.

The games were fun and tense before team Dod Auto Balance........I know some maps the teams were stacked

but a losing team learns quickly to play as a team or lose..Sometimes a crappy team gets it together for a win and makes it the best game.

maybe even 3 or 4 players.

The auto-balance is too quick to jump the gun and will move the first person to die over. With the high amount of traffic (people connecting/disconnecting) and high amount of deaths, it seems like auto-balance never turns off and is constantly switching somebody. Most of the time people get switched they just spectate then go back to their original team anyway, which in turn just makes it auto-switch someone else.

In my experience, the teams have always evened themselves out without interference and there very rarely was a real problem with stacked teams.

This feature is especially bad for newer players because they don't know the maps and then they get switched constantly because they keep getting killed and lose their position or don't know how to adapt to the other team.

I've noticed it more and more recently... I rarely get through a map without being switched. It's not a big deal... but it ruins the flow of a round for me. If it could be tweaked not to me such a jerk towards me that would be great =D

Ah but seriously I've no idea what you could do - I don't think it should be removed, but if it could be made less annoying that would be awesome.

It is definitely way too quick to be of any use. There must be some way to tone it down a bit, or make it switch at the end of rounds or something

This thread is almost a month old. The autobalance system has been changed since then.
