Casting a vote to kick somebody is not abusing anything dude. People vote yes because they want to kick you, normally nobody ever is banned, but 20 people voted yes because they wanted you gone.

Donators can be kicked to, just type votekick name and there ya go

if 4 other people agree they type it too.

People hate you because you say stupid shit constantly every time you log on, and you made a reputation for that. People kick you because they don't want to deal with ur shit every minute they want to have fun and play.

Btw you fall under the catagory of disruptive gameplay, that means you can be banned/kicked. Even the admin said you have zero evidence.

Best choice for you is to find a different server on lotus, most people that play badwater only play badwater.

I see no proof at all only you showing me me me there is no such thing as a donator abuse, we payed for it so we can do what ever power we wan't on people who cause trouble like you. The whole server map hates you that is a fact other wise you would of won the vote but you didn't because people hate you.

Actually, yes there is such a thing. We have banned people for abusing their privileges in the past.

He does the same shit every time he joins, and usually he gets kicked anyways after a few rounds. He doesn't seem to understand that people don't like him acting the way he does, and instead of just not talking or trying to not be a douche all the time, he does stuff like this or just comes back and expects everyone to treat him differently. I honestly don't understand why he even still plays on the Badwater server. He's made such a reputation for himself that probably somewhere around 90% of the people who play on that server regularly don't like him. Lotus has plenty of servers, I don't understand why he doesn't just go somewhere else.

yeah this is the same stupid shit that happens to everyone on the lotus servers... kill a guy enough times and suddenly there's a vote.. do nothing and there's a vote.. ive rarely seen someone booted for a good reason.. or muted.. or gagged... afk is the exception... even then people votekick others for being afk when they know the guy is running around killing shit... the guy will even say "i'm not afk" and still the vote passes...

there's a vote on the east coast server likely once a half hour...

its a side game with the regulars on your servers..

ive played with boom he's no different than many others... once people pick you out it is difficult to regain anonymity...

as for votes passing or failing its just a crapshoot.. most people dont vote with knowledge they just hit a key.. hmm 1 or 2? 1!!!!

boom has regulars giving him shit every time so people see that and say "well i guess he deserves it" not really knowing anything.

its like any business really tho boom.. they are getting money from people... and all the bullshit isnt causing a decrease in population.. so they really dont give a shit.

Yesterday 4/1/2011 I was on the badwater server and I hear cuffs (who is a regular) say that boom(who is also a regular) is on the forums trying to get him banned for "abusing his privledges". I have come on here to check it out and give my view on the situation. Within the first week of playing on this server (I dont remember when my first time was, but it was a month or 2 ago maybe) I hear these stories about "boom" and I had seen him around but thought he's a good player I am sure some of the stuff that is being said can't be true. Boom pretty much did everything that was said to a T. He is an obnoxious player who people do not like because of his terrible in-game attitude and his inability to stay on a losing team. He is a decent player but while he is in game has has a "I am better then the entire server" attitude. People do not like this kind of attitude including myself. I am not a donator and I do not know that I will ever become one. Yesterday that first votekick before boom even got in game was started by me. I did a "votekick boom" and within 30 seconds there were enough players for votekicking him that he was gone pretty much as soon as he joined the game. The vote passed with 18 players for and 2 against (may have been 4 against, I cant remember). In either case, people on the badwater server do not like boom and he is a well known troll there. They don't want to put up with his trolling so he gets votekicked/banned anytime he even joins. Everybody wants to have a good time but Boom wants to have a good troll and he wants to be on the winning team while he's doing so. I would like to point out that boom is not the only player I have seen team switching to be on the winning team but that is highly frowned upon in any server I frequent and in some servers they will outright ban you if they see you do it.

Thanks for the great servers and I hope this gets resolved with nobody being banned. Boom may be a troll and annoying, but I do not believe he deserves to be banned. Thats what votekick and voteban are for. As for cuffs, he is also a great player and the fact that boom has come on here to try to get him banned for votekicking him is ludicrous. Boom knows the circumstances, he also knows that cuffs is definately NOT the only person with donator privledges that votes to kick or ban him, he also knows that even people who do not have donator status vote to kick and ban him. If you were to ban cuffs you would have to ban nearly the entire server for this same offense.

People just love to hate me! Which I could care less about. What I do care about is Banning/Kickin/Harassement because of it.

Just look at over kills post. Cuffs was begging for people to come on here because i wanted to "ban him" from the server! Not once have I asked for him to be banned! All this thread has been about was taking away his donator rights! Everything is overblown by a couple of donators who just have it out for me. When he starts kicks or bans for people... he usually follows it up by begging everyone to press yes! I just don't think that is what the Lotus Clan wants when it gives privileges out .

If you want more evidence of the type of person cuffs is .... Just look back at this post from another player. This is now 3 separate players who have come to the forum to bring up issues with Cuffs. Once again, in my mind this is not the type of person to be giving your server privileges to.

I don't usually post in clan forums, but after an issue on one of the Lotus servers I was looking for a server admin to deal with the problem, which eventually lead me here.

The problem happens to be this very guy: 'I can break these cuffs'. I don't know what kind of standard your clan places on sportsmanship and general 'being a dick' attributes, but you might as well get to know your applicants, right?

About an hour ago on your Texas-based 24/7 Badwater server, this same applicant was auto-balanced to the opposing team. Rather than roll with it and do what he could, he opted to complain vocally and then scout out his new team's sentry positions, broadcasting them to the enemy team. He repeated this until the enemy team finally won. When he was finally able to switch back to the winning team, he was quite happy.

Unfortunately, I don't know the command to initialize a vote for kicking - not sure if I even have the power, really. Either way, I felt you all might be interested in knowing. Or not, though I figure the Lotus clan has some degree of sportsmanship. Either way, I won't be checking back. Happy TF2ing!
