Nope. Because this just allows more campers and people buying awps. It takes away the fun for close-quarter battles in a tiny map such as office. But if a lot of people want it, it would only work if the office map time limit is lowered to 3:00 or even to 2:50. 5 minutes is too long for awps.

To be honest, awps don't need that much of a skill compared to scouts. You just shoot any part of the body and instant death for the victim (except for the cases of limb shots but even so it's like 80+ dmg compared to the scout's 70+ dmg).

It used to be 1 awp per team for a long time, and everything was fine... sure you have complainers who lack proper thinking and thats how it was removed.Enough amount of complaining to the admin gave result to awps being banned.

AWP doesn't take skill and it's also a tool for hackers to rack even a higher kdr without much effort. At least with rifles it's like playing a good player. Take Klasc for example, when he was on there he would empty a server with his 20:1 kdr with the AWP or when wallers like Jaber were on there too. Not to mention how easy it is to get kills if you know how to tweak your rates to the point where it seems to the victim they are dying around the corner. Nobody ever bans the real hackers because they are too dumb to recognize hacks (mostly because there is no hltv for the lotus servers...) and giving these people a 1 hit kill weapon is a joke. Eliminating this shit weapon balances the teams and gives less reason to sit in long snipe the entire round. If you want AWP go to another server. There are plenty of office servers out there that offer it.
