Racist Behaviour On The Server

Hi,

I would like to report a player (name is {some tags not visible in my character set} + 'Fat Man'),

who on August 15th, 2011 around 10:40 (GMT+ 1, DST) in the lotus CTF 2 fort server filled the

chat with racist statements. Someone else eventually joined him too.

I would like to echo this complaint about the 2fort servers. Apparently some very socially inept people have clearly never seen a Jew before. Either way, antisemitism jokes (and racism in general) are so yesterday, and 'aint cool in the 21st century. Anyone who thinks otherwise should stop living in their mom's basement and go outside for a bit.

Or you could spend some time outside and realize that any slander or racist remarks are usually meant to offend the stereotype and not the general population. While a Jewish person is some who comes from family whose origins can be traced back to the house of Abraham. A jew is a stereotype accepted by a grand part of the population as that guy who cheats you out of something to save his own skin.

While the origin of this term may be negative. We should remember that a great deal of the evolution of language involves the use of negative words which are now used in a positive light.

Remember when gay used to just mean happy?

While I know that's a poor example, it has a slight tinge of dark humor. If you don't appreciate dark humor and you have trouble taking a bit of name calling, why on earth are you getting into a Free-To-Play First Person Shooter (I figured I should abbreviate that in case you are new to the whole games concept and though that free = PC and had no idea what F2PFPS was).

In conclusion, while I have no idea what happened on the server you were on the most important thing to remember is that the server you were on is on the internet, and if you were looking for something more family friendly... you probably shouldn't have browsed away from pbskids.org.

I'll keep that in mind the next time AngrySquirrel shows up and the regulars on the server treat him like he deserves a medal of honor. So really what it comes down to is....?
