Nascarfastcar 0 #1 Posted August 19, 2011 I've been playing this server for awhile and never had any issues. I'm from New Jersey. So the east coast servers seem fine for me still. But Ive been having terrible lag ever since.. well when the laser weapons were reintroduced into the servers (about a week?). Never had a problem when they were first released though. Basically I'm just having general lag all the time. Player movements and voice chat. Im just seeing if anyone else on from the east coast playing mid/Chicago servers are having a problem as well. I haven't tested any others. I've tried resetting my modem a few times but haven't contacted my isp for a hard reset (digital phone modem, has a backup battery to stay on). My ping ranges from 30-50 which I think is normal. 45+ is when it's lagging. But I did notice im running 12-20's on the jersey servers which I usually ran in the single digits. Just seeing if anyone else is having a issue. I have nothing running in the background. Even turned off firewalls and antiviruses. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Lot 0 #2 Posted August 28, 2011 I've also been experiencing horrible lag. I try other servers (non lotus) and have absolutely no problems. This has been going on for about three weeks (roughly.) Really thrashes around cap points with lots of players. I'm also a donator, not sure if that has anything to do with it. It really makes the server unplayable. Lot 0 #6 Posted August 30, 2011 Is it actual lag? Or just low FPS. If it's low fps, not a server issue. if it's really lag, then O_o I run at a constant 60fps. I have a pretty uber machine and it's not the graphics. That was one of the first things I checked. It's worse tonight so I created another quick demo.
