chicken 1 #1 Posted September 6, 2011 Not sure if you have had other complaints but the level of jerks joining the server has been greatly on the increase the last few weeks. There tends to be a few people a night with just nasty ass gay porn sprays they put in very visual spawn locations, a few people a night that are just constant mic spammers and another few people a night that just try their hardest to make the game not fun for others. Be this smoking spots we need snipers to cover from, trying to push people off of defuses, etc. With the vote banning system being the way it is, it is hard to get enough people to vote ban these folks. Is there some way you can get some more admins to play regularly on the DoD server or add some additional admins that play there regularly? I know there are a bunch of us that enjoy the server but between all of this is makes it not as fun to play here. Thanks Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Mana 3,867 #2 Posted September 9, 2011 Based on no replies, I can say we didn't had any other complaints. However, sprays are not supposed to be enabled on any of our Linux servers (and we now only have Linux servers). Previously the box running DODS was on Windows so that's the only reason why sprays are enabled. If you are wondering why sprays are disabled, it's due to an uploading exploit that Valve never managed to patch fully. If someone can upload a spray they can upload something worse to the server.
