Suggestion For Defending Team

Hi, well I was wondering if it's possible to decrease the waiting time for the defending team when waiting to respawn. It gets quite frustrating waiting about 20 seconds to get back into action to help your team out, maybe it can be put down to 10 seconds if possible? Just a suggestion, I know I'm not the only one that feels this way. Thanks.

Those are just the stock respawn timers as set by Valve. Valve reviewed thousands and thousands of hours of game play to get those spawn timers set and Defense will always have a longer respawn time then Offense. If the defending team respawns too quickly then the offensive team does not have a reasonable chance to cap the end point. Respawns are on a constant timer and it just depends on where in that timer you died. Getting the full 20+ second respawn all the time is just bad luck.

Keeping stock respawn timers is required to keep the servers included in Valve's matchmaking system. Mana has already said that stock respawn timers will not be changed as it would decrease the server population. Lotus does have some Insta-Spawn servers for people who want to play that way.
