Nothing but a crash on my end. I'll keep working to find what I screwed up.

Edit: Double checked everything. Its all in the right place, etc. When plr 1.2 is put where 1.0 is, the server crashes on start. When 1.0 is put back it works fine.

So, unfortunately Windows PLR 1.2 is broken. Will have to stick to the engine.dll every update.

I've updated PLR to work with DEP enabled. Get 1.2.1 from www.sourceop.com.

Remember, it only works with at most 32 players. If you try 33 or more, your server will crash due to limitations outside of my control.

Lovely <3.

Doesn't crash on load for me, but crashes once a 2nd player joins the game, doesnt produce mdmps, also running sourcemod, works fine with the old version and engine.dll.

Today's update seems to have broken the playerlimit plugin, at least it has on linux. :(

cursed Valve. lol. The plugin seems to have survived the last few updates, but now this one has killed it.

I have updated the first post with Nephyrin's plugin which works fine on Linux and Windows and should also work for those of you who have crashes with Sourceop's plugin. It does not need DEP plus the filesize is over 2 times smaller than that of Sourceop's not that it's a size competition.

Hey now, DF had his done ages before I even bought TF2

And mine doesn't have sourcehook in it which gives it a size advantage, it doesn't reflect relative overhead (neither should have any noticable overhead)

Yes and I was saying, it's not a size competition. Sourceop could easily UPX his plugin and so could you if there really was a need to decrease the filesize by 50%.

But you have to agree, he wasn't exactly going to release his plugin until you made your own :P.

Edit:

I still love Sourceop for his first plr plugin? Better? :D

I doubt he knows. His plugin is done differently. Only sourceop would know what crashes his plugin.

yeah ive been helping the guys over at source ops figure out what is wrong with their plugin. he thinks he may finally have a solution since servers dont crash when bots are added but crashes when real players join.

How are you guys doing 33?

Oh for fucks sake, I don't know how many times I said this by now. Must be 20+. So read this carefully:

WE ARE NOT DOING 33 PLAYER SERVERS, IT'S NOT FUCKING POSSIBLE. 32 IS THE ABSOLUTE MAX. 33 PLAYERS ARE RUN BY PIXIES THAT MAKE THEM LOOK LIKE THEY ARE AT 33 PLAYERS WHILE ACTUALLY THEY'RE AT 32.

Get it?
