Dovi 3 #1 Posted December 14, 2007 Hey guys, most of our recruits thus far are mostly going Soldier, couse of course they wan't to impress with their kills and high scores they can accumulate, but just so you know if you do get in, you'll need to get better at a few classes and not just Soldier. When we start scrimmaging we don't wan't 6 soldiers on our team if you understand. Not to say you're doing anything wrong but everyone will need to have more than 1 class they are good at couse if we have several people wanting to be a Soldier in a scrimmage it won't work so well. Dovi 3 #3 Posted December 15, 2007 When we get somewhere from 10-20 members. It has to be organized since its no longer Counter-Strike Source rambo style scrimage. Thats why we can't have 4 soldiers on our team since it is usually hard to arrange a 16 vs 16 scrimamge so i'm thinking of more something along the lines of 8v8 and such, so almost each person on our team will be needed to be a different class. This is why even tho you wan't to impress us by getting high scores with a soldier it won't help you very much in the long run.
Bane 0 #4 Posted December 17, 2007 Well I primarily play Sniper, but I'm excelent at scout and soldier aswell. I also play engineer when needed pretty effectivelly (meaning I can pick off spies with some amount of skill) and I don't have problems switching from one class to the next to meet the momentary needs... But I am best at snipping so I tend to play mostly that..
-=^*Draco*^=- 0 #5 Posted December 17, 2007 I simply play Soldier best. I can solo half the enemy team alone provided there isn't a medic nearby, and I know where everyone's at. I'm sure everyone's already seen me do that a few times. And with a medic you might as well kiss your ass good-bye I have been practicing sniping a bit, but I'm not terribly good at it for a few reasons, one a lack of concentration if I've been playing too long and I'm tired, and two because my current mouse set-up isn't all that great now, and my accuracy because of that is a little off. I do play a pretty mean Engineer. I know some really sweet spots to set up guns that are nearly impervious to anything but lucky shots on invuln people, or a good spy + other combo. I can also play Medic if needed. I don't mind healing a HW or Soldier as long as they know how to kill fast and efficient. As for the others, I haven't played very much, I absolutely hate playing spy, I've never been a hotkey kind of guy so spy is pretty much not ever going to happen for me. And HW guy is just too slow for my liking. I need fast-paced action.

coda 1 #7 Posted March 29, 2008 well, i work with just about all the classes, except demoman and engy. i know i'm new (not a recruit yet), but i like to think i'm a well rounded tf2 player. mostly i play scout, spy, medic, and heavy. it really depends on what's going on in the game. i'm flexible

Nihility 0 #9 Posted March 29, 2008 well personally i dont like soldier. i rape with a sniper, and ive only really been playing as one as a main character for about a week and a half. before that i mainly played pyro, and i still love pyros ill play sniper, pyro, scout, heavy, etc etc. i will NOT play (in a match im not goofing off in) Spy, engy, or Demoman (unless there is a very close pesky turret or whatnot. i also rarely play medic unless its needed (which i will do without question if asked to)
