Bane 0 #1 Posted January 25, 2008 2 things I noticed: 1st: Teamspeak works both ways, blue can hear red and vice versa 2nd: At the start of a round the pop up message says "Capture all control points to win" it should say "Capture the intelligence to win" or something like that rather. For me, the best part of playing on the clan server is joining the team with other clanmates and using voice com to coordinate and generally own the opponent. This is now impossible. The difference in the game last night was glaring. No one on my team was communicating or coordinating their efforts because it's a pain in the ass to type these things in team chat and most people didn't bother. the result was everyone running around doing their own thing and the game becoming a stalemate as everyone played deathmatch in the middle of the map Not to sound like a dick, but if you want a chatty experience sign on MSN or AIM, or use the Steam chat feature. Dovi 3 #4 Posted January 25, 2008 I'll back up Wilt 1000%. I really forgot the 2fort server featured other maps and I also forgot that the server was a chat room. Alltalk completely ruins cordination as Wilt said and is bullshit. I was thinking about turning it into stock maps. Dustbowl is lots of fun. But then ultimately decided on leaving it CTF. Maybe I will make it stock maps once the new gameplay changes are released. This is the 4th time I see that URL on this forum. And it was always a No. Lemme repeat the reasons; Steam comes with Built in Voice and Group Chat We also have a Teamspeak server somewhere Hell will freeze over before I install yet another application that sucks beyond hell and will never ever be used by me (Xfire for example) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I know I'm not in Lotus but I play on this server nearly everyday because it's so sweet... anyway, my opinion doesn't count for much but I love the idea of having atleast 2 maps in the rotation! Mana 3,867 #13 Posted January 26, 2008 Now that the official CTF_WELL is out, which looks almost exactly the same as my CP_WELL in CTF mode.. Heh Even the intel is in the same place! It will be rotating between 2fort and well every 60 minutes, unless extended by the mapvote (Which I actually disabled but it still pops out for no reason).
