Medic Upgrades

I was able to try them all for a bit today, honestly I saw potential in all of them. This is tf2 so they all have drawbacks as well.

The buttsplater gun - can be nice for a couple quick shots to get some HP, but I found more often than not I would get too risky trying to get health by attacking and end up dead.

Kritzkreig - I love this thing, Priime and I where trying a couple different classes seeing how it worked out.

The soldier is an obvious choice, great for a couple splash kills if there's a group of people (which there often is behind the cart)

The pyro really requires that you sneak up on them because it runs out so quickly, so it's mostly usefull when you find a good flank line and end up behind a group.

Heavy can't be used like an uber heavy, it's gotta be like a regular heavy (pop out around a corner)

Demo is awesome with crits if you know what your doing, 7 stickies can easlily be 7 kills and once those are gone a rain of grenades will either push them back or kill them all

And don't try and take out a sentry with the kritz, will not work well! sentrys are immune to crits.

Ubersaw - I didn't get to use it much, but it's risky trying to get saws for uber.

lol buttsplater... well i like this gun it comes in handy when runny from a pesky pyro. it works well if u aim good or if the pyro runs pretty str8.

kritz- this is my favorite. uber soldeir is awesome and it works really good if u uber a heavy while someone else ubers heavy with normal uber. its funny to see everyone just start running. want to uber sniper with it to see how well that works in sniper gun to see if u get good damage just firing shots off without letting scope charge. demo is ok if u uber a GOOD demo. still lots to try though but great gun.

ubersaw- i really like this one too!!! i think it works on buildings but im not sure. it does work if u get ubered and use it cuz then u have uber. me and someone did it earlier. at first i died alot trying to use it just to get uber but found it useful to whack someone around corner and run or getting spies with it. u can defineatly get ubers fast if used wisely. u can usually use it and end when u win to bonesaw 4 times and get that 1 last uber off!!!!

You're missing two. While other people are getting a them whitout any achievements at all! And even on different classes... like the spy with the Vampire Leech gun.

I don't like the idea of upgrades. Valve might not be turning the game into an RPG yet, but I can still see the tedious leveling that is characteristic of most RPGs (arrr!) in the inevitable achievment whoring (CcougHcoUghGag). Plus, when I am eventually able to play TF2 with over 5fps, I know I'll be achievment whoring too... and I'll feel like its a ridiculous waste of time. I want the quick and exciting of FPSs. Not tedium followed by satisfaction. Although the satisfaction, I'm sure, will be worth it.

Lul, hopefully next update I can just get achievements whitout doing anything.
