Cant Install Wotw

I have a strange problem and searched this forum for help but it doesn't seem anyone else had this problem before. I have the original Battle Realms installed on my PC and downloaded WOTW but when clicking on install it gives error that Battle Realms is not installed and you must first install it before you can install WOTW. The same happens when I tried to install the Battle packs.

Any advice?

Hi.

I can see one reason why your installer won't run: the installer searches for a valid Battlerealms.dat file installed on your PC, if it finds one which is not the same size as the original (i.e. modded or cracked), it will abort installation.

Reinstall your backup copy of battlerealms.dat (you DID back your original files up, didn't you?) and overwrite what is existing there, install WotW, no need to install patches separately, WotW automatically updates your game to version 1.50q.
