The Stat System Hates Me

In my last 2 games, I had 12 kills and 4 deaths and then the other game I had 26 kills and 11 deaths. But my skill level keeps dropping anyway. In other words, the stat is pointless now, it doesnt makes any sense. Here's the link: http://stats.lotusclan.com/tf2/player.php?id=140408

Oh and BTW, I killed and died much more than that, but the system doesnt save all my kills and death which makes the stats even more pointless and dumb(but my kill ratio was about the same though).

Was your KDR worse this game than the one before it? Did you get less bonus points this time? Did you get killed more by people who are ranked above you as opposed to you killing them more?

If so that's why it dropped.

You need to improve for it to go up. Get more kills than last time or get more bonus points (defenses, caps, assists, etc). If you do worse it will go down... I'm not sure what you are expecting. You want it to go up everytime you play even if you do worse? That wouldn't work.

But why do we have a stat system if it doesnt work? And like I said, the stat system is clearly pointless so of course Im not going to care. I like bitching though . I can't deny that.

You don't work. It works fine. PS wouldn't have made it to 3.2 if it didn't work. Just because you do worse doesn't mean your skill should magically go up.

There is a grace period of 3 days before the skill start falling for inactivity.

Did you upgrade psycho stats again or something?

I had a good run my last game session. Capped the Intel 6 times, never got dominated even once, over 3:1 KDR, dominated most of the other team, yet my skill points dropped 138 points??????????????

WTF is that? Makes no sense at all why my skill points would drop.

It depends on who you kill and who kills you. If you kill high ranked people you will get more points, if you get killed by people who rank low you will give them points. Whit out this and doing better in general the skill would only increase, but it would never decrease and that would not work at all in any way.

But you have said before that killing isnt the only thing that gives you points. What about dominations? Destroying sentry guns? Do you get extra for those? Intels? Not one of them dominated me that session, yet I dominated most of them. Over 3:1 KDR, and I destroyed a lot of sentry guns. And capped 6 intels.

Doesn't make any sense at all why a few kills they get on me would cause a negative result.

Few kills? You only died few times? Then your KDR would of been much higher. And yes all events count. Starting with "captureblocked" ending with "sapperdestroy".

I did NOT complain when my stats got reset, I welcomed it when he offered to reset them. I did report after the fact they were rest that it wasn't working correctly, in that it did not report the stats correctly and that the stats signature was not working.

Stop lying, I never said that KDR is the only thing that counts. Infact I said that everything counts so stop making stuff up. Just because you are killing noobs doesn't mean you should be ranked #1. KDR in itself does not give you any points. It's just a number. Kills, assists, etc do.
