bml 0 #1 Posted March 29, 2009 So, last night a bunch of us we talking about the lack (none) of admins on the server. We do like not having a dictatorship looking out over us while we play, but when it comes to votekick/voteban it never works cause the person will just leave and come back to be a fucktard some more. We all have been waiting and waiting for there to be an/a admin in the lotus DOD:S server. Here are some issues: The rank system is getting very,very,very slow The rank is very volatile, you can change you rank be hundreds in one day. voteshuffle does not work previous stated votekick/ban issue Thank you for running such a great DOD:S server - BML Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Pika Pika 0 #2 Posted March 29, 2009 Been playing on the server with BML and as he stated i agree 100% Some people just have no self-control with their comments or actions which ends up giving the server a bad experience for a new player or anyone who regularly plays. I do very well agree with Crono here, however people don't quite understand a few things here. Wallhack cannot work on this server. (Material changing) Since the server uses sv_pure 2 and Mana pays a lot of attention when they put a specific code line in. -I like this, but my High Res textures don't work in it. =( Anything else has to change the game's .dll files, whereas VAC will likely catch them. Even if it doesn't it's obvious when people hack. Voteban/votekick does work, however maybe the values need to be changed? [Aside from editing it completely and making an averaging part for the 'skill rank'.] Voteshuffle does not work. -Seconded Lastly, I know Mana has stated that there is no wordfilter on the server. Which is fine, but I'd like to know at what point people are abusing these things. I personally have no tolerance for racist douchebaggery, or people that have problems with others based on their sexuality. And downright assholes are quite annoying. HmMmMz but you started a vote for banning me and u succeed on it. do u have anything in your hand that it shows me that im cheating? bullocks there is no such thing, you juust turned emo because you couldn;t got me and then u went to spec to watch me. u said something about the aiming staff but i would like to ask something cuz i guess as you stated by your voting that im using wallhack or aimbot. well mate i need new one than cuz mine is not exactly working, u nfortunately i miss sometimes and they do kill me with nades and rush kills im totaly mad about what u did today. I did not succeed on it alone, with an 80, and 83 and an 89 percent success rate. So out of 32 people at least 25 people thought you were too. Yes I have demos that have been submitted to admins. So apparently 25 people turned emo thinking you were hacking when you always knew where we were before you could even turn the corner. You can make all the excuses you want, you can point all the fingers you want, and you can call anyone names that you want. It does not excuse you from hacking.
