Spy Watches

Recommended Posts

So Ive been trying to figure out what load out to use as a spy and there's just one more thing I have a question on before I decide and it's this:

Does the old spy watch cloak/uncloak any faster than the new ones? Does it make any more/less of a sound when you cloak/uncloak?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I think they cloak at the same speed? The only one that makes a sound for everyone to hear is the deadringer? Right? There is no rulebook for TF2. Practice makes perfect. In a couple of days maybe you can tell me?

I realize that, just if one uncloaks faster it'd work better for me.

From watching videos and personal experience Id say it does but Im bad at timing things so I wanted to double check.

I kinda feel the cloak and dagger takes a long time to uncloak, compared to the others, the only one that cloaks faster is the dead ringer, and thats because it needs to.

As far as sounds are concerned, i think they all make some noise, but the dead ringer is by fair the loudest. I know i have caught a few spies from hearing the regular watch uncloaking, its not very load, so in noisy battle area, you can't hear it, but if your almost all alone, you can hear any of the 3.
