Lagging

Recommended Posts

Say a person has a ping of over 500, should that person be banned. There are a few chinese players who play and one in specific has played often using a ping of 450-510+ and makes it nearly impossible to kill him in a 1 on 1. I have a demo and such but I dont think he deserves a ban.

I'm still trying to figure out why you would make a post about him lagging and asking if he should be banned, if you don't think he deserves it.

Things like this are best left for a voteban. If that person is really a bother to majority of the people on the servers, a voteban will pass.

well i have to say that you also have to look into the fact that it is pretty hard to play when you are lagging.... having lagged highly sometimes myself, it is almost impossible to play... since you don't have much control to what is happening... you die very easily, since you can easily be surprised by incoming players.... (think of it this way, when talking on a phone with bad connection, it's bad for both the person that is hearing, but also for the person communicating, since he can't get his point across...)...

again, I believe the best solution is a voteban/kick.... that way you can see what other players around you think also...
