Rigormortis 15 #26 Posted November 3, 2009 I played CS/CSS for 7 years. I think I can aim.
Spartan_0214 18 #27 Posted November 4, 2009 Yes, because you can aim in one game definitely means you can aim in a completely different style game. Oh, by the way, playing Counter-Strike != being good at Counter-Strike. Just sos ya know.
Rigormortis 15 #28 Posted November 4, 2009 =/= * I dont play games that I'm not good at. They were built with the same engine; they have the same aiming style minus the cross hairs, but those can be modified anyway. I've never even seen you play a spy, so I don't really value your opinions about them.
Spartan_0214 18 #29 Posted November 4, 2009 =/= * Depends on what compiler you're using. In regard to the other stuff, yeah, Counter-Strike source is based on the Source engine, but that's like saying playing TF2 is like playing Half-Life 2. Which it isn't. And you only play games that you're good at, eh? Is that why you keep leaving once the competition (the Stock Maps regulars) joins up...
Rigormortis 15 #30 Posted November 4, 2009 I don't flee once "the competition shows up," I usually stick around. If by some chance phantom, asdf, dankweed, and the entire Lotus recruit roster show up on the other team, I make it a point to explode them into chunks or backstab phantom numerous times before leaving heading out to smoke and play puzzle fighter.

Paul Bunyan 13 #32 Posted November 4, 2009 No, this I could stare at all day long and still be amused. But this argument..it is not satisfying.
Captain Planet 28 #33 Posted November 4, 2009 Arguments? IN MY LOTUS FORUMS?!?!
Rydawg 14 #34 Posted November 4, 2009 Worst idea ever. This would not allow sandvich parties on Hydro or all snipers D or some of the more awesome stuff that happens when we get bored on stock 1/
Super Sean 1 #35 Posted November 4, 2009 I had a Sandvich picnic the other day: So filling!

The last, but faster. Much faster. As in you generally leave within a round or two. And you don't really backstab phantom that much.

Rigormortis 15 #44 Posted November 7, 2009 LOL. I backstabbed you enough times (solo) for you to rage Pyro; its a shame your pocket medics dont have a good eye for spies. And if you wanna play against me for a longer period of time, get on earlier. I logoff at around 9-10 on most days.
The Computer Geek 6 #45 Posted November 7, 2009 So this thread about class limits has now gone to basically a verbal contest of who has the bigger penis.
Bombz 31 #46 Posted November 7, 2009 No surprises to me. Most of the top ranked players appear to be sniper cunts or people in "cliques" who play together and/or have a constant pocket medic. That's why their K/D ratios as well as kills per minute don't vary greatly from those 10, 20, 30 ranks below them. It's the survivability that gets most of the players into the top spots. Which makes me feel pretty good because I'm fortunate if I get a 24/7 pocket medic or the benefit of a dominant team.

I logoff at around 9-10 on most days. read: 5 spies you killed me twice, the second one was me backing away from two other spies. so i went pyro cause theres no reason for me to stay demo when theres no one attacking B except for ~5 w+m1 dead ringer spies you can try again, tho. what happened with your little double uber medic party earlier? oh yea. anyway, just say no to class limits. but a retard filter would be badass. Bombz 31 #48 Posted November 7, 2009 Seems stocks doesn't provide much of a challenge for you phantom, why not come play some Dustbowl? It's the DM3/Q3DM17 of QW/Q3 ya know.. I'd come play some stocks, but I hear of the over the top team stacking that goes on there and it has scared me away.

Nah, phantom was generally in the top10 before the Lorax, me, and a few others got together and started regularly playing in the evening. That was mid-summer. As the summer drew to a close a lot of people became donators to be on the "stacked" team, which was pretty much just a bunch of us hanging out, having sandvich parties, sneaky finger competitions, etc. After a few rounds of throttling the other team we generally starting goofing off. This made it a little more fun for the other team 'cause they could actually capture a few points while we were having fun messing around trying different things with the TF2 classes. Effectively, what was once just generally hanging around on one team, maybe trying when we wanted to but otherwise just trying to have fun, became the stacking that is so infamous today.
