I have a complaint about a couple of new admins. It seems you guys got some admins finally hitting the servers. However, this was not a pleasant meeting...

A user kept saying "Hey guys.", even after we acknowledged him. So a sarcastic, "Hi, we get it..." came back through my mic to get him to understand we heard him. Immediately I was threatened with banning if I didn't stop using the mic by someone named "BGBG = Sharpshot". I didn't know who he was, and he never identified himself. So, I basically asked who the hell he was threatening me with a ban. THEN he says he's an admin, and to shut the f*ck up or he'd ban me. Not very courteous of an admin... No "let it go" or "we're friends with that guy, leave him alone". Just STFU or I'll ban you. Seriously..? And "|FTW| Moonbeam" (another supposed admin) basically threatened me a second time each time "BGBG = Sharpshot" did. Now I'm ganged up on by TWO supposed admins..?! People tried to get me to talk again to see if he'd ban me, so I said (through chat, not mic) I wouldn't reply on the mic or BGBG would ban me. They accused me of mocking the admins! A little sarcasm never hurt anyone, but obviously these two have some really, REALLY thin skin.

First... are these two even admins??? (I checked both of their stats. They're new to the server. They don't even have a month's worth of stats, yet.) Where can I find out who's an admin and who's not? This would be good information to know. (Honestly, I didn't even think we had any at all... it's gotten that bad on the server.) If these two ARE admins, I'm not sure I ever want to play on this server again. I don't appreciate the hostility and short fuse of these two. They're on a power trip, if you ask me. Tell these guys to have some manners and class. Cussing out players isn't acceptable as an authoritative figure. Threats aren't acceptable without adequate warning or explanation (other than "you're pissing me off"). Having a bad day is no reason to take it out on someone trying to enjoy some gaming after a long day. (I work, too!)

I tried to apologize, but just got told to shut up or get banned again, so I ended up quitting my session to avoid getting banned.

I play on here a LOT. Just about every day. I don't cheat. I don't mic spam. I don't put up offensive sprays. I don't harass people. I just like to play DOD:S. This is making me think I should find another server. Between mic spammers, me being threatened for being a so-called mic spammer (or just pissing off a cranky admin), and hackers, I'm ready to jump ship. And from the other posts I've seen, it sounds like I'm not the only one...

If any mods/admins want to reply, feel free to do so. I'd love to talk to someone about this whole thing (other than those two), as it has me quite worked up.

I don't know what Mana has been doing with the Admin situation for the DODS server, but I highly doubt they were admins. Chances are, if someone is threatening to ban you, they're just some random assclown and should be treated as such.

Well, that's reassuring to read. But if these two idiots are going to be pushing people around by claiming admin status, someone needs to kick them in the family jewels. Uncool... If they really are admins, I'd like to know.

I'm pretty much the admin of the server. Can't really kick anyone, but I can ban them for being douchebags. I don't really give a fuck what their excuse is.

Just get me a demo.

we are working out the whole admin situation, but it still early... about those two players, i also never heard of them... so i wouldn't know what to tell you... next time if we are both on tell me who they are, and we might do something about it... CHEERS...

Thanks, rrrucas! I haven't seen those two on since. Although I did catch one other guy aimbotting. The post I put up about a week or so ago should have links to a couple demos. I actually got him during a later session, maybe a day or two ago. He's not very good at using his hacks, but it's a bit annoying to those playing honestly.
