wezu 0 #1 Posted January 25, 2009 Hello. I was banned today at 8:45 PM on 64.246.12.53:27015 right after the admins were messing with the bloom effect on the server. The admins were forcing class changes so that each team was comprised of only one class (pyros vs. pyros, etc). This didn't sit too well with me, since I prefer playing the game as whatever class I please. To rectify this on my end, I quickly kept selecting a class to switch to before the admin could switch me back. I successfully did it as a heavy when the rest of the players were all medics. The admin then banned me. I learned the switching technique from someone on the server called fireaxeman or somesuch. If you unban me, I won't attempt to choose my own class when the admin has control. However, I do think that admins should exercise less control of player choices, since that ruins the fun. Granted, I know I can leave and join another server, but Lotus clan's arena server is usually so full and lag-free that it is my #1 choice to play there. Thanks for the consideration.
