Hey Mana, I'm not sure where to post this but I wanted to bring a problem to your attention. Recently our clan [-VM-] had a scrim with [Team Win]on Goldrush #1. During the scrim some of their players continued to exploit by flaming the bottom of the attic in stage one destroying sentrys. We asked him to stop, he didn't and continued to do so. We initated a votekick and it wasn't successful. Now every time we play with them they are very disruptive and say that they are going to report us for abusing donator privileges. They have been acting immature, spamming racist slurs, and just being very disruptive. We have at least five donators in our clan and love to play on your servers. The next time that I am on I will try to take screenshots and/or record a demo. I would just like to know if there is anything that I can do or if theres anything you can do to resovle this problem.

First, there was no burning through the floor - we took the attic with an uber demo and you got mad. I asked everyone on my team if they burnt though the foor, and they said no. Even the guy you accused of burning through the floor at the time was DEMO!

Second, I have demos and screen shots of VM donors incessantly votemuting me from the other team. I would get muted, rejoin, and the VM donor would have already initiated another votemute. If you'd like, I can post the demos/screenshots.

Third, Goldy isn't really in our clan anymore. He shows up wearing our tag but has already joined something called in.

Last, it was a great match on the server. Don't be soo butthurt that you guys lost. As far as I am concerned, the series between us is tied 1-1. Trying to get us banned for beating you is poor sportsmanship.

Look, its not about who won or lost. I just want to be able to play on my favorite server without being acused of abusing donor privileges and to just be able to play without a distraction. Is that too much to ask for. I just don't want this to continue to become escalated. Myelin you are a good guy but some of your members are asshats. I don't want to have to leave the lotus clan servers because of that. It seems as though we can't work it out privately so thats the only reason I posted it here.

We (Team Win) members feel the same way - we want to have fun without being accused of burning you through the floor. You are trying to ban our entire clan (over 100 people) with NO EVIDENCE! Just have fun man. This BS isn't worth it.

We're all trying to have fun. There is shit talking going on from both sides. There are VM guys bitching about people burning through the floor (which, continuously deny it, but I backstabbed him AS he was was doing it to my roommate, unless standing and looking up while flamethrowing and standing still is just a norm for him). And on the other side there is Team win guys bitching about the abuse of votebans/mutes. Just can it both sides and play. And I've been told by a lotus member that exploiting the floor is grounds for at least a temp ban. Just some food for thought I guess. I don't want to get anyone banned, but its cheesy and kinda takes any fun out of the game. No one wants to play with people who do that kind of stuff, same goes for spam voting.

Though, of all the screen shots I saw, I noticed none of the Team win members made it to the top of the scoreboard >_> hehe, and I was standing on the top the whole night. (okay, so I had some rounds with like 85 teleports, which is meh in terms of getting points). Just poking some fun, relax guys! <3

Regardless. The open challenge was fun, I'd do it again, as long as both sides didn't start bitching immediately as the game started. Cheers to some fun games [Team Win]

Wow, this is ridiculous.

They accuse me of Pyro exploits, even though I was playing Demo and Medic that night. No wonder there aren't any demos of anything happening.

They accuse us of being disruptive, while they are spamming votekick after votekick until they get enough people to accidentally press 1 while playing to get it passed.

They said we were spamming racial slurs, when Goldy said things like "TEAM WINI MUDAFUCKA"

They were probably referring to Metallica's chat spam, but he's not in Team Win. He has a separate thread on these forums, anyway.

myelin and Goldy should have demos/screenshots of them getting votekicked/muted, but probably won't post them unless they have to, since we don't want to see another entire group of regulars get banned.

Some 2 random clams had a "scrim" on my public server?

I got a new plugin idea/donator benefit: Autoscramble immunity, scramble teams every 10 minutes, or maybe every miniround end.

Judging by the server logs, even with donator immunity scramble would have randomized the teams well enough.

If it doesn't than VM and its SIX donators will have to find another server. My intentions was not to get your whole clan banned but to bring it to mannas attention. I know that team win doesn't have the best record with lotus. So please control your members.

yes, your autobalance plugin screwed it up toward the end of the night. so it's working.

ps - wasn't really a scrim - we are 2 groups that enjoy playing together on GR1 and decided to split the teams up accordingly.

If I recall, Mana doesn't mind giving donors permabans if they deserve it.

I say Team Win and VM need to just shake hands, move on, and get back to playing together on Lotus servers.
