Brokkoly 11 #77 Posted July 9, 2010 i don't have one, crafted it a while back, i guess it or the southern hospitality will drop eventually and also, you are able to use a lvl 3 with the gunslinger, you just can't move your gun or it gets mini-ized
Nerdzrool 0 #78 Posted July 9, 2010 Yeah. I like the mini-L3 though. And the other glitch I was talking about was the server crash they fixed in the update about 10 minutes after they released the first one. You previously could access the build menu and attempt to build a sentry while holding a sentry, causing the server to have a segmentation fault. Can't anymore, which is good. When intel is capped and you have Frontier Justice out, you lose the 10 second criticals boost, even with your other weapons.
Melissia 7 #79 Posted July 10, 2010 The mini-L3 at least still shoots rockets though. A pretty big upgrade from the standard mini.

Mike808 1 #81 Posted July 10, 2010 the move your sentry part is over powered in my opinion. just go to your spot and put up a dispenser. then run back to your spawn and build a sentry right outside, level it up to lvl3 using the supply cabinet. then just carry it back to your spot. it takes time to get back to a level 3 when redeploying but its not that long. Melissia 7 #82 Posted July 10, 2010 At least engineers have more to do now though
Brokkoly 11 #83 Posted July 10, 2010 (edited) yeah, i think the big part was making engie more fun to play, and also, just one person upgrading a gun at their spawn takes time, and on offense, mini-sentries are pretty good, unless in places where a well wrangled level 3 could do alot of damage. Also, a wrangled mini-sentry does the same damage as a regular level one, but it can deploy 4 times as fast. Actually, it seems that the mini-sentry shoots 6 bullets per second, (12 with wrangler) so it does 1.5 times more damage than a regular sentry Edited July 10, 2010 by Brokkoly
Melissia 7 #84 Posted July 10, 2010 Indeed, they do shoot faster. So they're kindof between level one and two. That added to the extra hp you get, and the crits from the frontier justice? You can have some nice combat engy going on there.
Brokkoly 11 #85 Posted July 10, 2010 and even if it just gets assists, that's one crit per assist, and wham, anyone who comes near you, blast em with your shotgun Though it stinks that it destroys all of your buildings when you switch between the wrench and the Gunslinger. does it do that when you switch between the southern hospitality and the wrench? Victoreem the V of doom 30 #86 Posted July 11, 2010 It would be okay if you could only move your dispencer and teleporters but the sentry is a little dumb.
Krash 1,040 #87 Posted July 11, 2010 On the other side of the map however, in the small time it takes to get the mini sentry up, one sticky right to its base puts it out. I am guessing no wrangler it has 100 health, 1 sticky does about 100-110.
Brokkoly 11 #88 Posted July 12, 2010 also, with the mobile sentries, that makes engies carrying something a prime target for snipers, spies, and anything else, as they move alot slower. Also, it takes alot of time to get a lvl 3 up, and then to transport it in
