Auto Balance Lock

I'm somewhat upset with a recent mod put on the server that restricts team switching after an auto-balance. I play TF2 with friends a lot and recently while playing on the server I haven't been able to play with them because of the new auto-balance restriction mod that inhibits movement to the opposite team after I get auto-balanced. I understand the intent of the mod, but I think it has consequences beyond the vision of the installation. I only want to play with my friends, not stack the teams, yet I am penalized because of this mod. I ask that some thought to be put into a reassessment of this server mod. I know I might not be a well know player on this server, but I feel my thoughts are echoed by others who play here.

It's not recent, we had it for months and it only prevents you for joining back for 3-10 mins (depending on server)

I'd rather you rage-quit and let someone else join in your spot than have you waste a spot in spectate waiting for the other team to open .
