dumpstersex 2 #8 Posted September 10, 2010 Hi, I'm a regular in the CS:S dust/office beta server, and There's just a couple suggestions I'd like to make. First of all, you guys may or may not have noticed, but at the top-left of the in-game screen, there is a radar.. That radar becomes pretty much worthless every time a "Mana is Awesome" or "Visit our website" message pops up. It's is constantly irritating me, and others I'm sure. I don't mind seeing the messages.. I just hate my radar being blocked. Second, I strongly think the auto-sniper ban should be lifted.. I can understand why you guys wouldn't want the awp to be accessible, and that's pretty obvious. but the auto-snipers are not overpowered. If one of the issues behind not allowing them is "Oh, well, if we can use autosnipers that would encourage people to camp and irritate everyone LOL" This is clearly not the case in the beta server. The regulars there are quick to start up that vote-kick, trust me. So, there you have it. I love the beta server. That's where I'm playing 90% of the time. It's a simple, no bs server that doesn't have all those annoying plug-ins and .wav files for everything that goes on. Keep up the good work, guys. Remember.. No more blocking the radar, and enable auto-snipers. Then I'll stfu and gtfo. Until then I'll most likely be spawncamping. Thanks for your time, yall. -ps. Stats are fine, but you can't check them ingame until the plugins are back. EDIT: All plugins are back, except weapon restrict. That one is still broken. After a while you have every noob and their mother banging off with that damn gun and then the server clears out. I've see it happen EVERYTIME. AWP is just a dumb weapon. Can we have server restart (9-12-10 1:14pm) becase it feels a little laggy, and maybe cap the ping at 250? Just about every other Beta server has a ping cap. I ussally never have any problems with lag, but some times there can be up to 6 people with 300+ ping and it starts to suck. I just wanna say, I love your server. Thanks!
