Zephyr 14 #1 Posted October 5, 2010 Mana, Would you consider changing the auto scramble settings on Stocks 4? Most of the time it scrambles too quickly and the teams are just as unbalanced as they were beforehand. It doesn't give me (or others) a chance to change teams to try to even things up. Is it possible to base the scramble on time? If nothing else, please set it to 3 rather than 2. Areola 0 #2 Posted October 5, 2010 I can agree with the payload thing. As far as teams go, I vary from top to bottom... so I can't say much for that. I will say, though, that I have been autoed twice in the same map. Damn thing needs to make up it's mind! Valve enabled this by default, if it was disabled by default you wouldn't even see it. In any case, I am considering what I will be doing about this. Current issues are: Autoscramble might be good, but on servers that have a few donors it might be a bit problematic. Due to them switching back immediately after autobalance and thus unbalancing the teams temporarily. Either it will be disabled completely or donors will get immunity. But for now I wanna see if the autoscramble is having a good effect on the servers or not. Don't expect it to change much until the end of this week. Mostly because if it truly is a problem (with the default being after 2 rounds), then people will also complain on steam forums and Valve will adjust the defaults for everyone . There *usually* isn't too much of a problem on S4, because top players will frequently move to help out the losing team. Can't say whether or not it is the same across the community. Also, donators having immunity does very little to balance the teams. The way you had it set up before this update was just fine - leave the players decide when to scramble. I dunno, I play on Stock 3 West Coast though, but I think from the recent major updates, I seem to be getting auto'd as donator. Probably made the plugin no longer work or something.
