TeamFortressBoxing 0 #1 Posted October 18, 2010 Hello my fellow TF2 gamers! I'm here to announce the starting of a TF2 BOXING LEAGUE (Heavies w/ boxing gloves). It will be organized such as (TWL), except the administration will match you up with others (avoids ducking opponents). The League will start on a TO BE ANNOUNCED date in November, and another event later held in December. No champions will be determined until next years 2011 SPRING GRAND PRIX. What makes this different from other leagues? -It's video game TF2 boxing, it's fun. -The ADMINS will be filming the event and edit it to a sporting event format before uploading to MACHINIMA.COM How will this work? -Events will be organized like MMA "Fight cards". Grand Prix's will be organized like the K-1 Tournament bracket. -On the website read the "RULES" for all of the information. -The website will track your "BOXING" stats (Wins/Losses/KO's/Getting KO'd) -The site will have top lists (Top 10 overall, Top 5 NA, Top 5 EU, Top 5 Asia, Top 5 Most KO's, Top 5 Most popular) What will you be competing for? This Plus, since this is being publicized on MACHINIMA.COM around 15,000 - 100,000 views will be seeing it (depending on how successful this is). Who will be champion? There will be a scrimmage event being held in November and December (gives us more of a chance to get your records up and other gamers). During the SPRING GRAND PRIX (could be from 8-32 competitors), the winner of the WHOLE GRAND PRIX will be getting... ...which will be added to your stats page, and your gamer tag will get to headline events. (IN EXAMPLE) Youtube video name -> TF2BC xTrap .vs. Pillar ALSO! This would be a good opportunity (a lot of viewers) for you people in squads or clans to advertise your team and their website!
