Primary Penetrator 0 #1 Posted October 27, 2010 Hi All! This week I returned to TF2 after a few months hiatus and started playing on the 2Fort East Coast server. I'm not sure when I last played, maybe a couple of days ago. Anyways, I just tried to enter the server and was told I was banned for sniper hacking. I don't use hacks, and I don't really remember anyone accusing me of hacking either. Honestly, I'm not even sure I played well enough that night to warrant such a suspicion. I've had a lot of fun playing with everyone on the server in the past and I hope I can return to it soon enough, I only have ten servers on my favorites list and two of them are lotus! Thanks! Primary Penetrator 0 #3 Posted October 27, 2010 Well obviously all I can do right now is just restate that I'm not hacking and hope that its proven the only explanation is that its some kind of glitch. Anyways, I understand you have to protect the rest of the players and be wary, I look forward to eventually being unbanned over this mistake. Thank You Ban request: http://forums.gaming...43-ban-request/ In the demo it shows that you have 25% sniper charge instantly when you zoom in, and it does not increase as it should. Ack, who posted your ban request, also said "Before I went observer mode I'm pretty sure sniper was using full power. " Someone mentioned that it's a glitch in spectate, but I've not heard of nor verified any glitches like this. There is another player claiming to be innocent that the demo shows otherwise. While it could very well be a glitch, I decided to air on the side of caution and ban them for the time being, based on the demo.
