Echo_S 2 #1 Posted November 4, 2010 Good day. So the story goes like this: I'm on the payload server, playing as normal, but some weird lags start and stuff, then it goes back to fairly normal. I'm on defense as RED, and hear a medic saying "MEDIC", look behind and I just see a RED spy, but moving with a constant stand still animation. I stab him then think "Oh wait, it's our spy." then suddenly he backstabs me and the death cam still shows him as a RED spy (no, he wasnt using the Eternal Reward). I get suspicious so I go spec him, even in spectator mode he shows up as a RED spy but killing RED and moving in a stand still animation and I see that none of the REDs get suspicious or are able to kill him oddly. So I record a demo, type "status" in console, but his name doesnt show up, and he is not on the scoreboard either, then he disappears but there is no message indicating he left the server. What the hell? Every other player including enemy spies displayed as normal. This one spy: -moves in stand still animation -is using his enemy team color WITHOUT DISGUISE -cant be killed -doesnt appear on scoreboard -doesnt appear on "status" command in console -doesnt show any messages in chat indicating his disconnection from server How am I supposed to report a hacker that acts like he doesnt even exist on the server but is like some godmode teamkiller? Echo_S 2 #3 Posted November 4, 2010 (edited) Can you post your demo you recorded. Sadly the demo didnt get him... while I had the console up and copied the "status" information he left. And it didnt show any messages saying he disconnected. And the demo was started during set up time in a new round, I suppose he had enough for the night and left right when the previous round ended. But next time if I see him I'll be faster, tho not sure what the demo could help besides seeing it in action, the most you can get on the guy is his Steam name. If it helps, I could look into the demo and see if it got his name at least and if I give the server IP you could check the server logs (if such thing exists) if the steam name was on the server in that certain timespan. I checked my records of users played with and his name was "Virzy", I recognise the name when I see it.
