Donation Question

If I donate will I be protected from votekicks? I travel often and therefore have to play with a high ping most of the time (250-300). It's playable but on (very) rare occasions certain people try to votekick/ban me simply because of the ping (One in particular, phantom or phenom or something comes to mind). I do not have packetloss and do not warp. I simply want a cool server to enjoy my free time on without being harassed.

Preemptive answers:

-I don't play on foreign servers because they are typically empty during the times I play

-Any advantages you may perceive me having are really outweighed by the disadvantages. Uncountable of failstabs, lag on sniping giving other snipers a large buffer to kill me, hard to play non-hitscan classes.

-I like Lotus because there's such an active player population, lots of good servers, I ping better compared to others, and there is no auto lag kick.

-I am not a useless player, I contribute a ton and often earn MVP. Hopefully other regulars can attest to this.

There isn't a ping kicker on Lotus servers at all. But i guess that falls under being disruptive (in severe cases), and the server decides to take action and votekick you.

The best advice i can tell you, is join the server closest to where you are. The only exception is Stocks 2. We have servers in all regions of the United States and in Maidenhead, England.

We do have a kicker for donor reserved slot, and i think that favors the last person to join. But not sure.

Honestly, not to be mean, but I hate people with really high pings. They just bounce around a lot and are hard to kill. It especially sucks if you're solider, sniper, or demo. I tend to usually try a votekick for high ping.
