Medieval Keep Server Lag Issues

Came to the Lotus Clan Server for the Medieval Keep 24/7 (the name escapes me). Been playing there for a couple days now, today though the lag is horrendous. Dunno if a reboot will solve it, if there are just so many people on that that is causing lag (unlikely for the other day I was playing with 24 active people), or if there are other things bogging down the server. Of considerably less interest (but still of some interest since I am already here posting this) there have been a good number of kids who just afk, is there a method to automating kicking or bringing in a votekick system? Much appreciated, I do enjoy the server when it isn't so sketchy and when it isn't me and 3 other kids versus 8 kids (because 'lo and behold 4 on our team decided to afk and go beat off).
