Stocks 4 Map Rotation

Oh sweet. This is like Christmas.

How about this to start out. There were only a few maps that empty out the server, so this will be a fairly complete list. I tried to mix up the map types so it doesn't get repetitive also. I'll check with the others and see if they want to add or remove any. Thanks!

I'd recommend mixing in popular maps with slightly less popular maps. Also do away with maps that Valve hates as that is likely to empty the server now. (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2825-AFGJ-3513)

You need to be running a Valve map to be matched, except:

Any arena map

cp_manor_event

cp_degrootkeep

koth_harvest_event

tc_hydro

Wait.. why is Hydro lumped in with those "special" maps?

I guess you can get rid of it from the list if there's a technical problem with including it. Feel free to reshuffle them according to your knowledge of popularity - I don't really know overall preferences.

I hate to bring this up again, but we lost most of our maps when Foundry was released.. The list you gave us last time plus Foundry would be perfect.

Can we get this server back to its original rotation and just add foundry thx in advance

I seem to have forgotten this.

It's fixed now. Should be good on map change.

Can we just have all the "Stock Maps"? let the players deiced what they want to play and not play by using voteskip and or rtv commands. maybe decrease the wait time for both commands. If the maps are voted on at the end of a round, then we should always have a map that the majority of people want to play. Your stats say people don't like KOTH, Hydro, or Blitz barn? let us be the judge. Just my 2 cents

Whenever I let players decide the server ends up dying or near dying. Though perhaps putting the least liked maps at the very bottom would still work.

Also when I forget to remove hydro from the mapcycle on time the server empties on that map most of the time.

Thanks for updating our maplist. But I noticed that we were missing at least a couple of the popular maps. Even if you decide not to add all maps to the list, could we at least have granary and fastlane? I think just about everyone likes those two.

Those are popular maps, I don't visit that location often but if they are not in the rotation, they should be added.

We could definitely use a few popular maps returned. Fastlane and granary are the main ones asked for on the server. Wouldn't mind Freight as well, I enjoyed that one.

I updated the mapcycle again. Should take effect after a map change or two.
