Hey

Just moved house, got myself a new pc, and finally dug out my copy of BR.

Installed it fine

Ran it fine

Got to the third mission (Mounting the attack on Shinja) and it wouldnt let me save.

Can anyone help and advise on this? I thought it might be because im running Windows Vista now (it was fine on XP on my old pc) but it seems others run on Vista too.

Did you by any chance try running the game as an Admin? Maybe Windows Vsta UAC prevents BR from saving into the Program Files directory. So running it as admin might fix that.

That sounds like one of the many Vista bugs floating about.

If it is your own computer, then make sure your account is the only one. Then turn it to an admin account and try running it as that. (Trust me, my stepbrother has Vista, and I can easily work computers since I own mine.) If you still have issues, try looking on Microsoft for possible Vista updates.
