[map change] |GDD| tbhe [denny crane] connected SlayerS_MMA voted for banning |GDD| tbhe [denny crane]. ... Lotus: Vote successful. (Received 10016433646005f 1 votes). TryHard 1 #2 Posted January 10, 2012 The same player just tried to do the same thing to me. In my case the vote failed but he was obviously trying to do the same thing. He got mad, joined spectator and waited a full 20 minutes until the map changed and immediately tried to voteban me. Take out the trash please. Thanks! Nano 7,892 #3 Posted January 10, 2012 (edited) The "bug" must be that with less people on the server, the less people needed to initiate a vote? I guess one solution to this (if it's really a big issue) is to just set the timer on the votekick/ban until after a minute has passed on a new map. I've still never heard of this though, so I can't think it's that widespread. EDIT: Don't forget you can kick/ban him too. Assuming that this is the TryHard I think it is, he's certainly good enough to get people to rage...currently #2 on the x24 servers, and catching up fast... Barbaro 466 #6 Posted January 11, 2012 I know what this guy's talking about, if you're the only person on the server, any vote you call will be successful, since there's only about 3-6 people and most are bots due to people still connecting. (Meaning they don't show up in Spec, in order for this to be possible, your connecton has to be pretty fast.) Its not a glitch, its simply being the only human player on the server. Abusive, definatly, a glitch, think not. Its being quick in your connection to the server and timing. As soon as your name appears in the connected, I think it appears in the vote menu too, while you're not physically in game, your ID and name is. I might be wrong but I've seen it before only twice, once by someone kicking a player that always joined a team and went afk, and I did it to a bot that was going to do nothing but sit in spawn (El Capitan Planet, The Sniper ) That name sounds very familiar, I think I've seen him abuse the vote system before, but I never take any demos or sorts cause I stick to the stock ones now and days.
