32 Player De-list Bypass File - Linux And Windows!

Valve is now officialy allowed server admins to run servers upwards of 25 player slots. However those servers only appear on the "Custom" Tab and not the main internet tab while in game.

Want to host your very own 32 slot Team Fortress 2 server? Well look no further!

Windows Files and Instructions: (Made by Me)

• 1) Download the engine.dll file from one of the following links:
  removed
  
• 2) Extract to your "orangebox/bin/" folder and replace the engine.dll that is already in there.
  
• 3) Next you need to get either the hexed server.dll file or the Player Limit remover plugin (Which we will use in this example):
  http://www.is1337.net/playerlimits.rar (Made by SourceOP)
  
• 4) And extract it to your orangebox folder.
  
• 5) Now just run srcds.exe with "+maxplayers 32" and you are all set!
  

Linux Files and Instructions: (Made By Nephyrin)

• 1)Get the player limits remover plugin for Linux TF2 and install it:
  http://www.is1337.ne...imits-linux.rar (Same instructions as the Windows Version, thanks go out to SourceOP)
  
• 2)Download the following archive file from one of the following locations:
  http://www.nephyrin....phDLBP_v1.3.zip
  
• 3) Follow the following:

  Simply set the LD_PRELOAD environment variable to "NephDLBP.so.1.0"
  before launching your server, and make sure NephDLBP.so.1.0 appears in
  your library path. For instance:
  LD_PRELOAD="NephDLBP.so.1.0" LD_LIBRARY_PATH=".:bin" ./srcds_i486 ...
  (Where NephDLBP.so.1.0 is either in the root or bin directory)
  If you use the srcds_run script provided with the server, you can simply
  add the following after the "export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=..." line:
  export LD_PRELOAD="NephDLBP.so.1.0"
  (and put NephDLBP.so.1.0 in the bin folder, not tf/bin)
  If the plugin successfully loads, you should see a message at the
  beggining of the server's output, and should not get any 'your server is
  out of date' messages (unless it really is!)
  To debug:
  Launch with the environment variable NEPHDLBP_DEBUG set to 1. IE:
  NEPHDLBP_DEBUG=1 LD_PRELOAD=NephDLBP.so.1.2 LD_LIBRARY_PATH=bin ./srcds_i486 ...
  or
  NEPHDLBP_DEBUG=1 ./srcds_run ... (if you've modified your srcds_run with the preload)
  This will print debugging messages whenever NephDLBP does anything. If your server crashes, please post any NephDLBP lines that were printed immediately before the crash, it will help me greatly in identifying the cause.

I don't have a hacked server.dll and i can't figure out how to use that plugin though - if you have a hacked server.dll can you link to that too?

Just extract the plugin to your Orange Box folder and it will work fine

Yes it is possible, you do it the same way as with 32 just making it 25 instead .

So "+maxplayers 25" and "sv_visiblemaxplayers 24" in server.cfg will make your server show up as x/24 but actually be x/25. Meaning you can go into the console and type "connect ip:port" when the server has 24/24 and you will join the server as the 25th player .

I think there are even plugins that manage that... Beetlesmod maybe?

I doubt you can change the starting command line to add that "+maxplayers 25"

Otherwise Admin panels like TCAdmin email the host when they say any increase in server slot count.
