Banned?

Hey I was banned sometime today I guess. When I try to join the CS:S dust2 server it says that I am banned for hacking? I don't hack and if someone thought I was, I would like to see the demo. I wasn't on the server at the time of this ban either so this is weird to me.

0:1:2028525 is my Steam ID. Any clarification on this would be nice... I would like to defend myself.

Well I can tell you that Col Stone was abusing the voteban system that night as well. He thinks that ILLIX hacks, which he doesn't, and would constantly be trying to initiate votebans on him. I didn't take any demos because the votes, while annoying, were not passing. So when he kept complaining about ILLIX hacking so we initiated a votebane against him with a server that had, provided memory serves correct, 10ish people. It passes because other people were fed up with him as well. As for the FF spam, yeah that was Devilpapaya and he was also the one constantly doing the !revote calls, which doesn't affect the outcome of the vote in any way. Does Devil deserve the ban? Sure, his spam was annoying and I didn't even realize that he was doing it until we were about done playing for the night. I do not think that I should be banned because I did very little except for remove a disruptive player from the server who kept calling votebans on someone he thought was ahcking. I believe it is a bit unfair for me and ILLIX to be banned because of the excessive spam coming from a friend. But hey, what can I do

Thanks for your unban request. After talking with crUshed we have modified all 3 bans, they are now temporary and will expire on the 28th.

Please note repeat behavior could result in a different punishment.
