Ip Direct Address

Ok, I've been playing this game for a long time. But I don't know how to do "Direct Ip Address" with my friend.

When I want to make my own game (direct Ip) do I put my Ip number in the "host ip address" or I just click "creat BR Game"

and if my friend want to join does he put his ip address or my ip address in the "host Ip address"?

also turn the firewall off/ add to exceptions list
