Ban Request - Bluesoccer23 + Soccerxman - May 23 2013, Around 5-9 Pm Est On Tf2 - 24/7 2Fort #2 East Coast

Bluesoccer23:

Soccerxman:

Now I'm not entirely sure if this qualifies as ban-worthy, but I felt like I'd put it on here anyway. Here's what happened.

Bluesoccer23 joins the server, and eventually chats that he's selling a hat for 2 keys: (note: this screenshot came after the following one, but he was saying the same thing before anyway)

Now another person, named soccerxman, so kindly assures the chat that the hat is usually more like 4 keys:

And than - oh look! They're friends:

They are distinctly either the same person, or two people trying to manipulate trading. I mentioned it on chat, and not too long later soccerxman left.

I thought it would be worth putting here, I'd hate to see people get tricked like that.

I wouldn't exactly call this just an allegation. The guy on that post provided no proof other than some names. But I completely understand if the staff deems this an allegation.

simply, it's up to players to be informed, and protect themselves from scamming, research what they are buying, etc.

In the other case, related to spycrabbing, that is dumb, and not condoned by any server, and if you think you can gamble with random strangers in a TF2 server, you almost deserve to be ripped off... if they are disruptive, they can be kicked or votekicked, but other than that... bring it to the attention of others to avoid the scammers, and they'll probably leave anyways
