I Got Vote-Banned By A Troll.

Hello, today I was playing TF2 when this troll just started vote-banning everyone. I really shouldn't be saying this, but his IN-Game name was "Shogun Peat Moss", or something like that. Any-who, I got vote-banned and I would appreciate if you can unban me, since I really like playing on Lotus Servers.

Also, shouldn't the "Vote-Ban" option should only be for Admins and Donators, not random trolls. Just Saying.

I also forgot, I did read the VoteBan sticky, as it will go away in a while, but a troll vote-banning, this is a problem.

What server were you on?
I think this guy plays on my server, Texas Dustbowl.
I'll check to make sure when I get home.

UPDATE: Steam is being stupid and won't let me see people I've played with other than today.

For your own ban, you'll just have to wait out the 30 minutes for it to pass.

As far as the person who initiated the ban, was he able to do it by himself? If so, it sounds like he's a donator. Hard to know who it was without a steam id - here are a couple of possible candidates:

In the future, you should take screenshots of the ban being initiated, type "status" in the console to get steam ids, and/or type !calladmin into chat.

Go to your steam profile and paste "/friends/coplay/" to the end of it. See if you can find him there.

Lol? I know who you are. I initiated a votekick on your friend who was idle for 33 minutes with 0 points, and it passed. You got upset about it, called an admin (Kitty) on me, and the admin didn't care and left. Also, you were never votebanned. You started a voteban on me with the reason "let's kick this donator," after harassing me for 15 minutes about having green text, which failed. If you were successfully votebanned at any point after that, it wasn't by me, because I left.

I don't know if "didn't care" is as accurate as, thought there wasn't a problem to be addressed and mentioned it might not be the best use of the !calladmin plugin. wink.png

      I was on your server today and came across two people claiming they're admins (Gazellenaire and Atomic Spark, I did not see them in the Admin list, but it hasn't been updated in a while) votebanning random people in a server. When asked why I was being votebanned and if I was breaking any rules, Gazellenaire typed in the chat "Nah" and "We are admins." One of them also said over microphone it was for something along the lines of "Destroying his shit".

      Okay, so I was just playing TF2 on a LotusClan server when all of the sudden a whole ton of people start getting votebanned.   I kind of get mad, because those people weren't doing anything wrong, and so I stand up and tell the idiot spammers to stop votebanning. Then we're in an argument and some idiot starts to voteban me. I wasn't even doing anything wrong, so the majority say no and I am kept on the server. Then he votebans again. And there was a majority vote and I was banned for spam. I wasn't spamming, I was arguing with the guy. If anyone should've gotten banned or for spamming, it should've been the idiot. I just wanted to know if each person could only have one voteban per hour, or no "double jeopardy" or just no voteban at all, and just reporting people. I really was pissed though, because I had done absolutely nothing wrong and wasn't even cursing. Which shouldn't really matter since TF2 is rated M. Not that I know if it is a rule or not on Lotus Clan. Thanks for reading... please consider my suggestion, because I HATE getting votebanned for no reason. BTW how long do votebans last?

      Queen Chrysalis was being abusive in chat to get a rise out of the person he was sniping against (they switched classes throughout, but it started while sniping). When Blazed Waluigi took the bait, Queen had his friend, Restless The Laggy Spy, log on to initiate the votekick. Blazed took the bait hard but Queen was absolutely the aggressor and going with it every step of the way. So while Blazed being kicked might not exactly break the rules, I'm pretty sure you don't have your donor system set up so that bullies can be bullies and then call in their friends to kick the people they are bullying. That's kind of retarded.
