Wolf Clan Strategies and Tactics

Well youre throwing out an awful ammount of names. Those will be a longer time period then you should spent gathering your warriors. Plus if you wan't to use all of them in a normal state you'd need more then one and about 4 of each max you'd get so I don't know if it would work for you.

Ofcourse it would work, I'm so used to micro'ing with Lotus that a handful of units with battlegear do not overwhelm my skill.

You are just being ignorant. What about if the enemy sends in Samurai with battle gear/ and geisha on horses at you. Try stopping that with those measly zerks.

I wouldn't call myself ignorant, trying to have a convo with you about BR... Depends on how many geisha, if I focuss on them 1st they'll die eventually but the samurais would be making quite some damage while im killing gaisha, I don't know about that. It might work a bit but im still goin with my Berserkers.

Say there are five geisha on horses. And about 20 samurais against your 25 beserkers with shale. A person can send the 20 samurai in and leave the geisha little behind. And when a samurai is damaged on yellow or red a geisha can quickly come heal and run away.

Well on second hand that could be something good for you but I could make some extra warriors. When ever I make a berserker army tho I always make about 3-5 werewolves who are one of the fastest beasts in the game the way they go on their 4 legs. As fast as a horse they could keep the geisha occupied and eaten. Then the bersekers and samurai could have a head to head battle. Samurai are considered weak, I agree to that if they're facing something really strong like a berseker but they are usefull against an army of LV1's. So im not sure who would win but bersekers are one of the most powerful of the 4 L3's in the game. Plus if it was 20 vs 25 I'd have even a bigger advantage.

20 vs 20 beserks + 5 werewolves.

Even if your wolves find my geisha all I have to do is trample their ass down. And don't forget the most powerful weapon in the game is at my disposal, dragon fire.

Dragon fire is very powerful. I guess thats the way you'd need to defeat me. But there are many ways to defeat dragon fire, I could just send a couple of pitchers and torch your statue or send out a decoy army for you to flame. Dragon statue takes a bit of time too, a normal game about 30 mins atleast. I don't believe in trample everybody says trample is such a good weapon to be used but its nothing. You got 5 geishas on horses, my wolves tear after them and find them. Trample takes off no more then about 10-15 % of my health and from then on those pitiful geisha would fight wolves of LV4 with their little air cathers, no doubt my wolves would kill the horses and kill them altho it would take awhile since they'd be healing each other.

I just read through all that, personally, that doesn't sound like a rush at all. Pup, you started talking about necro and heros, that certainly is no rush. If you DID try rushing with taht, you'd get owned. but of course, you know that. And berz rush, too slow. I'm not opposing anyone's strategies here, but in my opinion wolf isn't the best rush clan. Sure they have the brute force, but if you get canns in a rush (which usually takes a liittle too long) the wolf player would be totally owned. And lotus isn't good against wolf. When I play as wolf I run through lotus. As long as I have shale armor handy. But wolf isn't good with rush because they are way too pricey. That's just what I think though. People who know how to manage peasants and stuff would probably be able to pull off a nice wolf rush though. :D

I didn't say anything about myself rushing. Wolf isn't meant for rushing which I never do, its great to stop rushes if you get a bit time to make your warriors.

Pool, I have played so much in valley that I can pull out a necro and 15 snipes in 12-15 mins.

yeah but thats if ur playing nubbies that would work. Other people go in with small forces and build up as they right.. such as RON!N. . and hes like the best rusher around these days.

If you say so pool, I don't know but have you been living in a cave. There is no such player Ronin playing this game.

No, no Diablos or LOT's yet. I used to know quite a few LOT members but they switched, and I think I could remember some Diablo members if I saw their names.

LOT is very cool clan with awesome members, but Im afraid it is dying, I hope they pull it back together.

Dove's right. Beserkers are incredibly good, I daresay the best melee in the game. High health, high armour, reasonable speed and attack. They destroy most ranged units, simply becaus they can withstand the ranged shot (mind you, I have beaten beserkers with Musks using the Parthian retreat, but I had 8 musks from 25 left over). Then you can go off and give the beserkers lycanthropy, and they just pwn everything thats melee or ranged.

Zymeth, you underestimate towers abilities. Dragon towers stun long enough for mass archers to kill easily 5 or so units. Stick the towers in pairs and you can kill off about 10 or more units befoe the enemy has even killed anything. Dragon Towers work REALLY well if you defend them with allied musks with snipe. Same goes with wolf towers

Serpent towers are pretty meek, but you stick them in pairs and keep blowing of a charge every 10 seconds it can interfere with your opponents mirco and give you a tiny advantage. However, serpent towers dismount mounted units (excluding dragon if you have reasearched stirrups), and thus make for the best cavalry assault counter.

actually i find wolves rush the most fun.. so many varieties.. and most of them can tear your opponent out easy.. but massing isnt really what wolf is for.. its usually mass berz or mass ballista for most people.. but its so easy to overcome.. if you make mass musk for ballista or mass cans for berz then your screwed.. so not exactly the best move in the world to mass x . x
