Wolf Clan Strategies and Tactics

The weird thing is in WOTW. The AIs never used new units except for the guardians of the dragon clan.... Hehehhehe

Dryads are so weak in explosives and magic.... I cannot fit them in my strategies..... Anyway they have cool weaponry... I love the sound of it and everything.....

well i haven't played wotw for along time. So now i dont remember how Dryads looks like and what she/he can do. The thing is, if u play ai, just get dc, ds, warlocks, and healers. U will be fine. If u think more about ur army, im sure u can find a spot for Dryads to fight. Look at his/her innate ability and BG. Then u might make use of him/her.

I don't even bother to play wotw now because most games are BR. sometimes, I played wotw online without knowing that it was wotw until i saw my opponent's wotw units. I think Lotus has the most power in WOTW.

Aramid, in wotw, use the new hero (the one can freeze). Use her to freeze your enemie units and then walk in your warlocks/sc to kill them. I found this to be very useful.

Oh if you team up with Serpent, use Taro's ability and then throw in some ds and get some unclean ones.

If you are a serpent, use the geisha's BG that raise all res. With this, cannons are almost immune to explosive.

If you are wolf, use a few Zen Counterpunch to kill any hero on the field. And sacrify a sledger in battle just to stun your enemy is worth the sledger's life. This will force your enemy to order his/her units to attack again. If not, the units just attack whatever that is close to it. A few stuns can help u win the game. If sledgers have high magic res, Lotus is not a formidable challenge. U can then just stun and stun while u entangle them and the rest of your unist kill do the work.

Oh stun slam can stop dc.

A 2v2 game, have your ally train any units that he/she likes and you just get lots of stun(not all or you force). This sounds very promising in winning. But I haven't tried that yet. I only tried in 1v1 with just 2-3 stuns. It worked great.

I hate mug. Mug can destroy my strat for any clan because my strat are mostly dependent on BG's. So when i play serpent, i always have a few mug. They are woth dying if they die. Let's take a look at this instance. A group of sam/iron skin can just run in to attack musk and retreat without getting hurt. With mug on your side. mug those sam and let your musk do their explosive work. You can try to smoke the sam, but mug is better. Also, in a game snipers vs snipers or smoke vs smokes, get a few muggers and run in to mug scope BG's. Of course the muggers will die. If you are lucky, you can run back your muggers after stealing scope BG's. Who cares if your muggers die, now you have the advantage over our opponent. you still got scope while your opponent does not. This will force your oppoenent to retreat. He/she will lose some musk while retreating. This make up for your muggers. And if your opponent has no towers, just rush in after he/she retreats to get more scopes. Of course u need to traind more muggers at this point. It all sounds good, but when u play, the game is different with your skill and micro.

When playing Dragon vs Dragon in late game, just have a heavy defense(towers and dragon spirits). Then send in sam to die to get as many yangs as u can. You should at least always have one spirit available. It is better to send 8 or 12 sam to dragon monument, then putting them in one big force. You don't need big army to fight in Dragon vs Dragon because spirit will kill most of them any way. So attacking a small different gorups is better(that is how i play). Your opponent will have to decide whether she/he should use spirit on my small army. If he/she uses spirit, then i can still defend my base with towers and spirits while making more units. And he/she will lose yangs. When my opponent send large force to counter my force, heheeheh give way to the spirit to take their souls. After killing the large force, don't send your entire force in one group. divide them and burn down the towers and/or monument. In this type of game, ID can be annoying. Don't even try to build towers near your enemy's base; it is better to build in town for stronger defense. Always try to build well near and infront of your towers. Also, build a well next to monument and keep.

Hehe.. 99% of my games are online.. Not just this forums that I post.. I still have 3 of other forums to post... and I post a lot too.. hehehe

A wolf strategy.....hmm.......in front melee berserkers with shale armor.......at the back 4 druidesses with 3 blesses each,so when the need comes I bless my berserkers and turn them into werewolves,at the back Ballistamen,with Shale Armor and Totem,when the battle is on,throw 2 totems,Pitch Slingers with Shale Armor for buildings....and 3-4 Sledgers with Stun Slam to wack off the ranged units......and if the game alows.....Shale Lord with the Pitch Slingers for buildings

Heh, that's one of the most basic strategies of all....melee in front, healers and missile units in the back. I expect every clan utilizes something similar in their own way.

I did a strategy for a long game.....and wolf doesn't have healers.....and come on man.......you would put missile in the front?I have other strategies,like including Brawlers with Zen Counter Punch,Maulers with Wrecking Ball or Werewolves with Wolf's Bite.......on the melee,and Hurlers with Shale Armor for missile.........there is a place for every unit,just that that's my fav strategy.....
