Banned because "Suspected Hacking"

Hello, I'm requesting an unban from your servers because I was mistakenly accused and banned by an admin for hacking when I was indeed not doing it.

I was using a special character in my name that allows you to duplicate anyone's name. The character is invisible for the game engine so it appears as a void space (even allowing you to have a void name)

The character is this one: " à¹Š" (without the quotes). Just try it and you will see what Im talking about.

I was doing this just for trolling, yes, I admit it, but trolling is a very different situation from hacking and I don't think a perma- or long-last ban is what I deserve for it. Maybe a week, or less, because I wasnt even warned.

I would give screenshoots (I will if you want me to), but the proof I think is enough. You just need to copy the symbol and will see it for yourself.

EDIT: Given the way you have gone about this ban protest the clan has decided to make it permanent.

 

I did not get into a detailed research here, but that's just the first points when you google "STEAM_0:1:18692769 ban"

I am not going to explain anything about the anonymous admin that got you banned. Our admins will know what's up.

Unban denied as there is no way to verify your version of the events.  You met all the criteria of a namechanging hacker (poor judgement on your part btw).  Even if you weren't cheating (which again - I can't tell either way as from a technical standpoint you acted exactly like one) - if I allowed an unban then every actual name changing hacker could make the same claim.

 

You extensive history of trolling and griefing wouldn't have helped your case but wasn't a factor in this decision.

 

Not sure if we are the last pub server with good ping you aren't banned from, but if so enjoy the valve servers - they don't have admins and you can grief to your hearts content.
