The Wizards, The Bitch, And The Demo

Well the genius wizards over at Kuju pretty much fucked up Dark Messiah for me. I have not bothered playing since the second day of the new patch. You all may be very well aware of the various issues such as the broken backstab and mouse lag issues. I even cancelled my pre order of the collector's. I might get the normal edition when it drops in price or if they fix up their mistake.

This is not the only reason I have not been playing, however. The bitch of a boyfriend has made things tenuous at best, also they have been very stressful because of it. A bit of my time now goes into furi kuri with Damon-kun as I take breaks between fixing things up with Jared. Edit: Or rather trying to get him to wake the fuck up and fix things for once. I gotta stop being nice...

On the brighter side however, the demo for Battlefield 2142 works rather well on my PC. This gives me something to do digitally so I am not bored while waiting for DM to be fixed.

These are pretty much the reasons I have not been playing with you guys. If any of you have the demo for BF2142 lemme know, and you will see me as either Gangrell or Amethyst. Feel free to squad up if you see Lotus squad once I figure out how to custom name them.

Yeah, good luck with all that. I'll let you know if the game is fixed once it comes out. As for BF2XXX, I was thinking about getting it. If you say it's good...then maybe I will.

Heh yeah it is pretty good. But try the demo first. Fileplanet is best cuz then youll get it quick at unlimited rate even if you are using a free account. The only thing free accounts have as a thorn is the waiting in line

lol, yea there are afew problems with DM right now, and it doesnt seem they even know about some of the major unbalanced class issues, but im sure they will fix it up, im sure that steam will not let them release a shit ass game, one that will be fixed up after it is released.

As for BF2142 i find it exactly the same as BF2, even then BF2 was the same as BF Vietnam, but it is definatly a change and there are some cool modes, eg Titan Mode

So yea, dont get your hopes down They will fix it.

its same for me , I cancelled my order too , but its not just because these things , I have some personal reasons .... but it dont means that I will not buy it in future ... so I will still visit IRC and forum if you dont mind

yeah.. there are some probs... especially in early and late game.. during mid game the balancing is mostly just fine...

but since they decreased warriors stamina regeneration getting at a good level is a pain... i can like run 5 meters and then i got to wait 5 minutes until i can run again... and how am i supposed to eveade two shot killing archeres like that? even the first mage spell does nearly as much damage as the attack of a level one warrior (2 points less or something) furthermore i saw more than enough archers jumping right out of the nearly non existant range of my sword during getting the next dual or triple arrow ready without being hit and if they missed doing the same again... if done right the warrior will have around 1/2 of his stamina when the archer is ready to shoot again.. then the warrior needs to evade and run to the archer again and attack witch again needs stamina... if the archer is just good at evading and not at aiming this fight will end after 3 or 4 shots of the archer... then the warrior is completely out of stamina and an easy target....

but hey... this is only beta.. i don't even think about canceling my preorder (ok i do but only to order an english version instead of the cut german one)

the beta will not even be as good as the full version at release date... it was never like that...
